Husband and wife team, Betsy Owens and Jack Lawrence combined their love of peanuts with their production and marketing knowledge to create a company dedicated to delivering the highest quality products and unparalleled customer service. They grow peanuts on their farm and the processing plant is located in a peanut growing area, giving America's Best Nut Company easy access to fresh-from-the-farm peanuts.
Only the finest extra large kerneled Virginia type peanuts are used by America's Best. The peanuts are first hand selected, then prepared by a special "blister roast" process adapted from a recipe used by southern farm families generations ago to cook peanuts in their home kitchens. These "blister roasted" gourmet peanuts are valued for their appealing crunch and rich flavor, prompting America's Best Peanut Company to create the slogan for their gourmet peanuts: "The Difference is the Taste."
Betsy and Jack have been producing award winning gourmet peanut products since 2003, always with special attention to detail and process to guarantee consistent high quality. Their Wingnuts were most recently recognized as an outstanding snack product at the 2007 Atlanta Gourmet Market trade show.
